Neil to tackle challenging dishes on Celebrity MasterChef

17 May 2016 - 10:08am

As we know, Neil is well known for his passion and dedication to everything he puts his hand to and his appearance on BBC Celebrity MasterChef this summer is no exception.

One of 20 celebrities who have to face John Torode and Gregg Wallace in the 11th series of the popular show, Neil has already completed the programme but how he fared is a closely guarded secret and the date of transmission has yet to be revealed.

Suffice to say that Neil holds his own against some extremely tough competition, including Olympic gold medal winner and former champion boxer Audley Harrison, American vocalist Jimmy Osmond, musician, journalist and CofE priest Richard Cole, author and TV presenter Cherry Healey, popular comedian Tommy Cannon, choreographer Gleb Savchenko and the journalist and TV presenter Louise Minchin.

The Celebrity MasterChef series lasts for six weeks, with two programmes every week. Like their non-celebrity counterparts, everyone who takes part in the series faces various challenges that are not for the faint-hearted. They have to combine inventiveness with time management, patience and – of course – a real flair for cooking.

Keep popping back for updates on how Neil does on the show…
